A Trip Blog On the weekend in March, my family and I went on a trip to Ciwidey. We got up early and went there from Jakarta by car. After arriving in Bandung, we stopped by Primarasa in Kemuning Street to get breakfast, snacks and goods for my brother who decided to stay at home. Afterwards, we continue towards the infamous white crater in Ciwidey.
The journey to the white crater was great. There were lots of trees, especially tea trees, and the air was fresh. At first, we thought it would be a little cool, but as soon as we stepped out of the car, the air was freezing. Fur or wool jackets are recommended here. Sadly, we don't have those at hand. We make do with taking photos and viewing the scenery quickly. Since it's been raining since morning, the crater was filled with thick fog.
Still, it was quite lovely. When the wind blew, the fog somewhat cleared. It allowed us to see more. The cold breeze didn't make us stay long though. To fight the cold, thankfully, we brought hot tea.
If you are one of those who want to go there but don't know if you have the necessary equipment, don't worry. The people there offer rental jackets and a photographer at your disposal. You can just come to the place just as you are. Though, don't take too long, lest you get a cold.
